Hi all,
Last week I had the pleasure of dressing six models in twenty four ensembles for the wonderful “Era of Grace and Elegance” fashion parade at the Rippon Lea ballroom, as part of the Storytelling Festival. It was great event, everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, not least those of us who were working behind the scenes. It was a lot of fun.
Here are some happy snaps I took whilst stage managing – big thanks to MC Andrew McClelland, models Tamara, Ashlee, Sarah, Morgan, Steph and Eva for bringing the era and fashions to life. Also to the Glen Eira City Council, the National Trust and volunteers, Margeaux and Alanah from the Distinctive Dame for hair and make up, and Tori and Georgia for wrangling the enormous number of hats, gloves, scarves, jewellery and handbags so that every lady could go out looking her best.
Hope you enjoy!
A quick pic backstage before the parade.
