[Talk] Norma Tullo

Thanks to everyone who joined me for the presentation on the House of Merivale, a Sydney label that is very close to my heart. If you enjoyed that one and would like a look at a great Melbourne designer from the time, Glen Eira libraries have invited me to speak about Norma Tullo next month.

From the website:

One of Australia’s most successful fashion designers of the ’60s and ’70s, Norma Tullo was chic and sophisticated, creating Chanel-inspired fashion for elegant young women. Championing natural fibres, especially wool, Norma won a record seven wool awards, and her styles were sold all around the world. They remain treasured collectibles today.

Join fashion historian and author, Nicole Jenkins, for an illustrated look at this significant designer, including pieces from Nicole’s own collection.

Suitable for ages 13 and up. Free event and bookings essential. Participants will be sent a Zoom link prior to the session.
