Chapel of Chic – new screening

A few years ago I had a small part in a local documentary by Lesley Sharon Rosethal, called “Chapel of Chic”, focusing on Melbourne’s famous shopping strip. It’s a fascinating insight into Australian fashion history, with many of the designers still operating today.

Chapel of chic is a social history of the 20th-century fashion scene, from Prue Acton and hippy jeans in the 1970s to young designers of the ’80s, ’90s and today.

What: Chapel of Chic documentary, presented by the film maker.
Where: Village Roadshow theatrette, State Library of Victoria
When: 6.30pm August 19th.
Cost: free

That’s me on the poster! Note that this is an old poster for a different screening.
