My favourite vintage fair is on again in a few weeks – sure, it’s in Sydney but it’s well worth the trip if you can make it. I hope to be going along too – as a buyer, not a seller, which is more fun too.
What: Sydney Vintage Clothing Fair
Over 60 dealers from all over Australia selling vintage & antique clothing, antique & vintage jewellery,
linen, lace & textiles & small collectables, also lots of fabulous entertainment.
Where: Canterbury Racecourse Function Centre, King Street Canterbury, Sydney
When: Friday 17th April 2009 5.30pm – 9.00pm
Saturday 18th April 2009 9.30am – 4.30pm
Sunday 19th April 2009 9.30am – 4.30pm
Tickets at the door – Adult $12, Pensioner $9, Child over 10yrs $5

Cafeteria open and free parking also Free Shuttle Bus from Strathfield and Canterbury Train Stations (departs on the hour from Strathfield and on the half hour from Canterbury Station). I walked from the station last time, and whilst it’s a pleasant walk I was glad not to be wearing high heels.
