Hi everyone, I’m presenting a talk on the wonderful mid century styles for Monash library, and you can join in, free and online.
The 1950s is such a glorious decade to speak about with a lovely combination of the best in haute couture from Dior, Givenchy, Balenciaga et al, plus classic quality casual wear. I’ll feature international fashion as well as garments made by local fashion houses and even some home-mades, to show where we found inspiration and how we dressed for our own environment and needs.
