This Saturday the beautiful Rippon Lea mansion is hosting a garden party, as part of the Miss Fisher’s Mysteries fashion exhibition. From the website:
Step back in time and join us for a glamorous 1920s garden party in the beautiful Rippon Lea Gardens.
There will be so much for you to do.. you can bring tennis shoes and join your friends in a game of vintage tennis or do something less taxing like playing a game of croquet. After you play the old-fashioned games, book in for a makeover with the lovely ladies from The Distinctive Dame in our pop-up 1920s hair and makeup salon and channel your inner-Phryne.
After you are all dolled up, head into the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition and get inspired by all of the sumptuous costumes. Make sure you have your clams as there will be 1920s-style food and drinks for purchase.
