Another writers festival! I’ll be presenting a talk on ’20s to ’60s fashions, accompanied by garments of the era. There are some great events in this festival and I’m chuffed to be a part of it.

“Nicole Jenkins has spent 30 years collecting, repairing and trading vintage clothing dating from World War 1 to the emergence of the punk era in the 1970s. You can see and touch original garments like those featured in her beautiful book, Love Vintage, as Nicole tells their stories, about fabrics, technologies and social histories.

Nicole shares her passionate knowledge of vintage fashion in conjunction with Albury’s Threads exhibition as part of NSW History Week 2012″
