  1. Gorgeous frock, love the colourway and shawl collar, would love to see the skirt, imagine it’s very full! Was Betty restored or is that her original paintwork?

  2. Hi Liz!
This ’50s frock is a real beauty: pure silk, but sculptured rather than with a full skirt – three quarter sleeves and a lot of seaming under the bust to make it very sexy and and fitted. Glad you like!

Betty has been restored: when I got her, someone had spray painted her all a yellowy-beige. The poor dear: she’s much happier now with some suitable make up (and eye lashes). All Circa’s mannequins have been restored.

  3. Of course! I think it’s about a size 14 (I can check the size on Tuesday when I’m back in the shop). We don’t sell online though….it’s best if you can try on vintage to see if it’s right for you.

If you’re still interested, perhaps you can call me at the shop next week (Tues-Sat, 11am to 6pm) and we can talk about it 🙂

  4. Oh this is fab! The collar reminds me of the one on the dress I wore to Madame Brussells. I know you said it is a 14, but I will just have to try this one on and see if I could get away with it.
