My recent workshop for the National Trust on accessorising couture of the ’50s and early ’60s was a great success, so I’m going to reprise it at Circa for those who missed out.
What: Workshop on accessorising ladies’ fashions – vintage style.
When: Saturday 3rd December, 10-11am
Where: Circa Vintage Clothing, 102 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy
Cost:$20 per person.
Bookings required – book online here or at Circa.
It will be part presentation, as I talk about different vintage frocks and and accessories and the occasion they would be most suitable for, and then participants can mix and match to create new looks following the vintage rules.
Accessories will include gloves, hats, shoes, costume jewellery, handbags and scarves. It will be a lot of fun! Here’s a snap from the National Trust workshop, so you can get an idea of the sort of accessories I’ll be talking about (although the selection will be different on the day).
