National Trust Vintage Clothing Sale 2025

Hi all, it’s that time again – the best vintage clothing sale of the year is on again.

From the website:

With vintage clothes, high end and designer wear, shoes, handbags, scarves and belts, millinery and jewellery, men’s and children’s clothes, there is something for everyone. There is the usual collection of linen, fabric and haberdashery and an interesting array of collectables. For one weekend only, we will fill the massive Magdalen Laundry at the Abbotsford Convent.

Mark your Melbourne fashion calendar, bring a gold coin donation for entry, and prepare to refresh your wardrobe and home with fun new designer finds, quality garments and eclectic homewares.

All proceeds support the National Trust in conserving and protecting Victoria’s natural, cultural and built heritage. Become a National Trust Member to receive express entry.

Details:

What: The National Trust annual vintage clothing sale.
When: Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March, 10am to 4pm.
Where: Abbotsford Convent, 1 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford.
Entry: gold coin. NT members get express entry.
More information: at the National Trust site.

Go early for the first pick and they usually discount a lot of the treasures in the last hours on Sunday. I found some great treasures last year including a blue linen ’60s Tullo coat dress, a lovely 1920s lolly tin and a red jersey ’70s disco dress for the collection. Bring a big bag and be quick as the best finds go quickly!
