Join Nicole Jenkins, award-winning author of ‘Love Vintage’ and ‘Style is Eternal’ for a talk about her books, research, and vintage fashion!

Nicole is fascinated by historical clothing, how to wear, care and collect it – and the stories it reveals about the people who wore it. She is a fashion historian who owns one of the largest private collections of Australian fashion in the world, a textile resource she is restoring, documenting and researching. For fifteen years she owned and operated Fitzroy shop ‘Circa Vintage Clothing’.

Nicole will bring some of her favourite pieces including garments and accessories featured in her books. Attendees are also welcome to bring their own mystery fashion objects, such as family heirlooms or cool vintage finds and Nicole will share insights into their history and significance.
