A real beauty, the Sunday Best market is on next weekend at a new venue – from the in-box:
Shine up your shoes and iron those cuffs because Sundays just became a little more pious!
Somerset Place just of Little Bourke will be transformed on April 18th to a fabulous indoor/outdoor jumble sale of all sorts of wares.
There will be live musicians with some old soul as well as skirts, shirts, scarves, bags, shoes, records, bric-a-brac. All from the years 1920-1960. Snaffle yourself a bargain from the trunk of a Chevy, get your nails done by the girls in the salon, have your vintage hat mended by the lovely Michelle or chomp on a piping hot cob of corn. Keep the kids happy with some cotton candy or a balloon from the man in the pinstriped suit.
We’re bringing back the Sunday Best so be sure to be in yours!

Sunday Best is a great place to pick up reasonably priced “real” vintage and you can’t go past the home-made cakey things. It’s more than a market, it’s a vintage lifestyle and community – I’m flying back from Sydney on Sunday, after the Vintage Fair but if I get the chance I hope to pop in on my way to the Underground Cinema. It’s going to be a busy weekend, but the Sunday Best jumble sale is worth going to.
