Loved Clothes Last: mending for Fashion Revolution

Hi everyone,

Gaye Abandon and I are teaming up to present a fundraiser for Fashion Revolution – the global cause for sustainable fashion.

An afternoon of hand-mending, come along and learn a few simple techniques to make the most of your wardrobe, because loved clothes last.

Gaye will be teaching visible Japanese techniques and I’m teaching the old fashioned approved-by-grandma tricks like darning, mending seam rips and tears etc that’s perfect for fixing your vintage finds.

As Fashion Revolution says:
“Rather than buying new, we want people to fall back in love with their clothes, care for them for longer, and take a stand against fast fashion that ends up in landfill.”

Sounds great to me: so come along, and book any of four one hour sessions or if you prefer, come for the whole afternoon. Limited places and we’d love to see you!
