   Hi, I was a friend of the designer of most of Daily Planets clothes & patterns. I was 16 when i started modelling the clothes in her back garden & garage – i have a lot of photos of the dresses and have wonderful memories of House of Merivale clothes – there was also a shop called, “hung on you” if i remember rightly. For quite a few years all i wore were the clothes from the Daily Planet – many were one-off’s as something had gone wrong with the screen print ..but i didn’t care – they were wonderful clothes and i felt wonderful wearing them.    Hi,
   just wondering if you could help me find any info on a dress i have. My sister who is about 49, recieved it when she was younger from a friends mother who use to wear it when she was a young teenager, The label is Marldena model. I gather it was made around 1920’2- 1930′s.i can show you photos and other details if you can contact me.

   If you could bring it to me at the shop, I can give you information about it – for an older dress, a photo won’t tell me as much as holding it.
