I’m pleased to be presenting another free library talk next month:
What were people wearing when Niddrie Library opened in 1968? Join award-winning author of books ‘Style is Eternal’ and ‘Love Vintage’, Nicole Jenkins for a discussion about her passion for collecting vintage fashion and a look at selected garments and accessories from the 1960s.
Such a fun era, the late ’60s. I’ll be bringing along a selection of garments from my collection, and creating a display in the library for a fortnight before the event. Please come along.
What: 1960s fashion: what were people wearing when Niddrie Library opened? Presented by Nicole Jenkins, illustrated with original fashion.
When: Friday 19th October 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Where: Niddrie Library, 483 Keilor Road, Niddrie VIC 3042
