Hi all,
This is the third talk that I have coming up in the next few weeks and it’s dedicated to the wonderful accessories that ladies and gentlemen wore to spruce up their outfits during the ’20s to the ’50s – with a definite Art Deco slant. I might even sneak in some items from the Deco revival in the late ’60-early ’70s.
What: Nicole presents a talk on Art Deco accessories
When: 7.30pm, Thursday 5th August2010
Where: Racecourse Hotel, cnr Waverley Rd & Princes Highway, East Malvern
Cost: $15 which includes coffee, tea, biscuits and mini-muffins.

Do you know of anything like this up in Sydney?
You must come and do some talks in Sydney for us who are a bit time poor to get away.
….so that of course means you are not time poor…. 🙂
Liz, I’d love to do this talk in Sydney – I’m there a few times a year so it would be easily done. I’d just need a group to approach me: perhaps the Art Deco Society or the 20th Century people?
Accessories are easy to travel with, and this particular talk requires so much preparation it would be a shame not to use the materials again!
